Card Kingdom‘s Advance Search feature has been instrumental in helping our customers build and refine decks, and today, we’re rolling out a new search filter that will make building Commander decks even easier.
In addition to searching for cards by color, Card Kingdom customers can now search for cards by color identity. Commander.net defines color identity as “[a card’s] color plus the color of any mana symbols in the card’s rules text.” For example, Tasigur, the Golden Fang‘s color is Black, but its color identity is Sultai (Blue, Black, and Green) due to the blue and green hybrid mana symbols in its rules text. The color identity filter will also help you find cards whose color identities are specified in their rules text, such as the Kobolds from Legends or the Future Sight Pacts, or double-faced cards that become a different color when they transform, such as Archangel Avacyn and Garruk Relentless.
We hope this new feature will be a boon for all the Commander players in our community who use our site to search for cards that fit their Commanders’ color identities.
