Need a break from holiday shopping? Join us for our monthly Commander stream, Commander Kingdom! This month, we’ll have Olivia Gobert-Hicks back to join us, along with LoadingReadyRun’s Ben Ulmer and Sam of Rhystic Studies.
Tune into the show Wednesday, December 1st at 2 PM PST on Twitch, and check out our players’ decklists below.
Olivia’s Galea, Kindler of Hope
Olivia’s no stranger to enchantment- or artifact-based decks, and this time, she’s combining them both. Her Galea deck uses cards like Sram, Danitha Capashen, and All That Glitters to get the most out of Auras and Equipment cards.
If you’re looking to build a Galea deck of your own, check out our guide to upgrading the Aura of Courage precon.
Ben’s Averna, the Chaos Bloom
Ben is looking to inject some chaos into the game with his Averna, the Chaos Bloom deck. Between Genesis Ultimatum, Sunbird’s Invocation, and all his cascade spells, Ben has plenty of ways to spin the wheel — and we’re excited to see what he gets!
Sam’s The Mimeoplasm
While the rest of our players brought newer commanders to the show, Sam went with a classic from the original Commander set. The Mimeoplasm has been helming graveyard-centric decks for over a decade, and Sam’s put an interesting twist on it by adding a cycling theme. Keep an eye on Living Death, which can reanimate all the beasts he’s cycled away!
Chris’s Old Rutstein
Chris will also be using the graveyard to great effect with his Old Rutstein deck. Chris built this deck with Twitch chat’s help on our monthly Crowdsource Commander stream; be sure to tune in next month to give your input on his next deck!
