Fall is almost here, and it’s a time of transition here on Commander Kingdom. Benjamin Wheeler‘s three-month stint on the show is coming to an end, and the CAG’s Olivia Gobert-Hicks will be joining us through the end of the year. We’re also joined this month by Shivam Bhatt, CAG member and host of the Casual Magic podcast.

Ben’s Masako the Humorless
Wheeler always brings unique decks to Commander Kingdom, and this Masako the Humorless build is no exception. For those unfamiliar, Masako has flash, and she allows tapped creatures to block as though they were untapped. In this “tapped creature tribal” deck, Wheeler will be able to load up his creatures with counters and ambush his opponents with surprise blocks.
Olivia’s Najeela, the Blade-Blossom
While Ben is looking to surprise his opponents in combat, Olivia wants to have as many combat steps as possible. Her Najeela, the Blade-Blossom deck is a who’s who of powerful creatures, which will allow her to create mana, multiply damage, and flood the board with attackers.
Shivam’s Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
Halloween is just around the corner, and Shivam is getting in the spirit with a classic Grimgrin, Corpse-Born deck. This tribal Zombies deck features plenty of old favorites, like Grave Titan, Tombstone Stairwell, and Rooftop Storm.
Chris’s Xantcha, Sleeper Agent
Rounding out our pod is host Chris Cornejo, playing a devious Xantcha, Sleeper Agent deck. Chris built this deck with Twitch chat’s help on our monthly Crowdsource Commander stream; be sure to tune in next month to give your input on his next deck!
