Reality Fracture is a physics-warping color-shifting multiverse of madness, and it’s right around the corner. Featuring the schools of Hexhaven and a bunch of what-if versions of characters in another timeline without Bolas, The Phyrexians or the Eldrazi. Here are our best-selling Reality Fracture singles this week so far – the hottest cards in our pre-sale, and why.
BEST SELLING REALITY FRACTURE CARDS OF THE WEEK
10. LOYAL TUTOR
Superfriends is an enduring archetype in Commander, which explains the big interest in Loyal Tutor. It’s the latest one-mana tutor that puts the card on the top of the library, akin to Vampiric Tutor or Enlightened Tutor. While the application of this card is narrow, in any deck that wants to run Deploy the Gatewatch or Call the Gatewatch, it’ll be a sweet upgrade.
9. GHALTA THE IMMOVABLE
First up, a card that slots right into all of those toughness matters decks, from Arcades to Felothar: Ghalta the Immovable. This 0/7 is never usually going to cost less than five mana, and quite regularly cost less. It lets your creatures attack as though they didn’t have defender, and it also gives you that sweet toughness damage assignment ability, that bases combat damage off of toughness.
Being an accessible uncommon and something of an auto-include in all of the Walls and Defender Commander decks, it’s no surprise to see Ghalta selling well. But why is she suddenly a… pentaceratops? A chasmosaurus?
8. KARN, ARGENT DEFENDER
Wow, so they put Torpor Orb on a creature for the same mana cost, eh? And also had it see artifacts too? And it’s also highly tutorable with Sisay, Weatherlight Captain or Captain Sisay? Whew. At least you can’t grab it off of Recruiter of the Guard.
Karn, Argent Defender is a really strong creature in multiple formats, and it’s easy to see the appeal.
7. GHALTA, THE UNSTOPPABLE
Back to our regular-scheduled Ghalta, and we have a cost reduction based on total power, similar to the original Ghalta. It’s an 8/8 Trample that gives the rest of your board Trample. It’s not the most exciting kind of card, but it is a strong card, especially because it comes down for relatively little mana. Board-wide trample is crucial to finishing games, and dropping this with enough mana left for other plays will win you them.
6. THE THEORIST, JACE BELEREN
Our headline Planeswalker and big-bad of the set, Jace has a powerful outing here as The Theorist, Jace Beleren. You’ll draw cards on opponent’s draw steps with his static ability, protect him with tokens or bouncing threats, and his ultimate can put boatloads of +1/+1 counters onto your board.
Jace is powerful here. It might be one of the best cards in the set for Limited, and makes for quite the early game drop in Commander. Ahead of curve, he can blank everyone’s early plays while netting you three extra cards, and the ceiling is even higher.
Does he have potential in Standard? It remains to be seen. Right now he’s an expensive unsummon. Maybe he’ll be a sleeper hit.
5. ISLANDS, ISLANDS EVERYWHERE

One of our most popular sellers has been the humble Island, in a not-so-humble art treatment. Reality Fracture’s Full-art Basics feature Jace’s tower, a mind-bending escher-esque construction at the heart of the Hexhaven campus. You can build a triptych with the three Island arts – or mix and match with other Basics – and they do look pretty awesome.
Our guess is the high demand is coming not only from Commander players (who are interested in blinging out their new Multiverse Reforged Commander deck) but from Mono Blue Tron players. Building “Jace’s Tower” alongside Urza’s Tower and Urza Tron is damn satisfying.
4. LILIANA, THE FAULTLESS
While the “any creature entering” Soul Sister variants like Soul Warden will always be the most efficient at gaining life, the ones that only gain you life on your own creatures entering are still solid, especially in constructed. When you have one that also comes with built in protection, you end up with quite the decent package. Liliana the Faultless is a strong Soul Sister, and should find a home in 60-card constructed formats and Commander alike.
3. HEXHAVEN INVIGORATOR
Is a four mana 6/6 Vigilance with unblockable good in Commander? Not as good as you think – and that’s what this’ll be the majority of the time without support or “combos”. The moment you do combine it with fight spells or a Blasphemous Act? You’re popping off. It’s not quite Primeval Titan – given it requires being damaged to trigger and not just entering or attacking – but it’s still pretty good.
In Standard, this could be pretty sweet in landfall decks, but it’s casual Commander where it’ll find its biggest fanbase.
2. JACE’S MACHINATIONS
Jace’s Machinations is one of the most powerful Empower Jace cards in the set. It not only gives a massive Empower Jace 8, but lets you activate loyalty abilities at instant speed for the rest of whatever turn you’re in.
The biggest application for this will be in Commander, where you can make non-legendary copies of some of your Jace Planeswalkers in order to really squeeze that Empower Jace ability for all it’s worth. It also helps you to get a bonus round of Planeswalker activations on another player’s turn, which can be clutch.
1. GEIST OF SAINT THALIA
Our top selling Reality Fracture card so far is Geist of Saint Thalia, which has sold nearly as much as Jace’s Machinations and Hexhaven Invigorator combined. Cost reducers in Izzet colors are always good, and when they’re on a two mana Flying creature, you can’t really ask for much more – besides, perhaps, having a fan favorite character featured.
In Standard, this is a great turn two play that allows you to play two Tablet of Discovery on Turn 3. Gran-Gran might be banned, but this two mana Spirit is very likely to take her slot. Will it be a balanced replacement?
