Last weekend, we raised $33,129 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound with our first annual Magic: The Gathering charity fundraiser and livestream, The Chalice!
The Chalice featured eight popular Magic: The Gathering content creators coming together in a four-week competition to raise the most money for charity, culminating with a Magic: The Gathering tournament livestreamed on Twitch. The two-day tournament consisted of three formats of Magic, designed to test their gaming prowess. The weekend started with a draft of the most recent Magic: The Gathering expansion, Guilds of Ravnica, moved to a round-robin tournament using Card Kingdom’s entry-level Battle Decks and finished with a Modern variant of our own creation called Block Party.
