Update, June 5th, 2020:

Our shipping times have improved, and it is taking us seven days to fulfill new orders. We are doing all we can to narrow that timeframe and look forward to getting closer to a 72-hour shipping window in the near future. We do have a small number of orders that are taking longer to ship due to issues like out of stock products, or payment or address issues. We are working to resolve these as quickly as possible. We are pleased to announce that our Buylist processing time is now back to three to five days. We have ended the 72-hour quarantine on incoming mail and will receive POs as they arrive.  As WA state works to lift its current COVID-19 restrictions, we look forward to transitioning back to more normal operations. We appreciate your patience and thank you for being a Card Kingdom customer

We continue to have a small team of folks in place to perform essential functions as permitted under the current phase of the WA Stay Home mandate, and employees’ health and safety is our primary concern. We’ve updated our workspaces and processes to support mandatory physical distancing, along with stringent safety and sanitization protocols. Only essential staff will be working on-site until it is safe to resume normal operations.

Update, April 27th, 2020:

During this temporary pause in normal fulfillment, we continue to have a small crew helping with operations. These folks are in place to perform essential functions allowed under the WA Stay Home mandate. We are also leveraging work from home options for staff wherever possible. By combining these efforts, we’re able to ship a limited number of orders. As of today, it is taking approximately two weeks to fulfill new orders. We also continue to process Buylist orders within approximately 72 hours of receipt. We appreciate your patience and thank you for being a Card Kingdom customer.

During this time, our primary concern continues to be our employees’ health and safety. We are keeping all mandatory physical distancing, along with stringent safety and sanitization protocols. Only essential staff will be working on-site until it is safe to resume normal operations, and the Stay Home our mandate has been removed. We will continue to keep you updated as the situation changes.

Our Ikoria and Commander 2020 preorders are expected to ship out on release day, May 15th, 2020.

Update, April 8, 2020:

We want to share updates to the operational changes we’ve made in response to COVID-19 and Washington state’s Stay Home mandate. On March 26th, we implemented a temporary pause to fulfillment to protect our employees and comply with the mandate. The timeline for the Governor’s mandate has been extended, and we will continue to follow these protocols until it is lifted.

During this temporary pause in normal fulfillment, we have a small crew helping with operations. These folks are in place to perform basic functions allowed under the WA Stay Home mandate. We are also leveraging work from home options for staff wherever possible. By combining these efforts, we’re able to ship a very limited number of orders, as well as process Buy List orders. Our primary concern is keeping all our employees safe and healthy, and adhering to the mandate. We are continuing all safety and sanitization protocols and keeping only essential staff on site until it is safe to resume normal operations, and the Stay Home mandate has been removed.

We’re still taking orders, so you can keep shopping with us during this time, and we very much appreciate it! We’ll ship your package out as soon as we’re able.

Our Ikoria and Commander 2020 preorders will open on April 15th, 2020, and those orders will ship out on release day, May 15th, 2020. Check out our social channels and blog for all of the previews.

Our Buy List also remains open, and   we are actively processing purchase orders. We’re leveraging work from home options for staff wherever possible, and that includes our graders.

Thank you for your patience through all these changes. We are grateful for our customers and can’t wait for all of us to get back to the business of Magic. Stay safe and healthy, friends.

Dear Card Kingdom Customer,

We want to let you know that Card Kingdom will be temporarily pausing fulfillment operations at our warehouse for the next two weeks starting tomorrow, Thursday the 26th. This is for the safety of our staff who cannot work from home, and in accordance with the Stay Home executive order issued for Washington state.

All orders placed on March 25, 2020 before 2 pm PDT will be shipped this week.

We do not have in-store pick up available at this time, and will contact customers with that delivery option so we can ship your order.

Orders placed after this time will be shipped immediately upon our return to the warehouse, which is expected to happen on May 5, 2020 (please see 4/27 update above). We will remain agile and creative and look to get fulfillment back up as soon as possible. We will be communicating updates, so please stay tuned.

If you are an international customer, please note that many countries are experiencing significant shipping delays. There are also several countries that have currently suspended inbound and outbound packages, so we will be unable ship to those until that is lifted.

Over the next two weeks, we will continue to serve you in every way we can. You will be able to use all functions on the Card Kingdom website, and to place orders. We will ship those orders as soon as our staff is back in the warehouse. Our Buylist will operate normally, and you can continue to sell us cards as you always have. The only difference will be slightly longer receiving times due to potential shipping delays and our temporary 72-hour quarantine of incoming packages. Once your package is marked received, it will be processed within 3-5 days. International customers will experience longer shipping times or may have temporary outbound shipping restrictions in place, so please account for that if you are sending us cards.

At this time, we are unable to accept Buylist drop-offs in our stores, so you will need to ship your cards to us. We will have that service back as soon as our stores are open again.

Customer Support will be available during their regular hours to answer any questions you may have.

We expect to have all our employees return to work once the Stay Home order is lifted. We will continue to take the safety of all employees seriously and will stringently abide by all recommended CDC guidelines. A large portion of our staff is currently working from home, including our Customer Support department and our Grading team, allowing us to continue with operations outside of fulfillment.

We also understand that this closure is a hardship for our staff, and we are doing all we can to ensure they are taken care of, and have their job waiting for them as soon as they can return. We are offering a stipend to help supplement unemployment benefits and are making sure that their health benefits are maintained during the warehouse closure. We want to come back stronger than ever and to do that, we need our team, which is Card Kingdom’s greatest asset. It’s vital that we take care of the folks here who make Magic happen for you.

We are grateful to all our customers and hope each of you remain safe and healthy as we make our way through this together. We will continue to be a resource for you through these difficult times and look forward to once again gathering to play Magic.

If you are interested in continuing to support Card Kingdom over the next couple of weeks, there are multiple ways to do so: visit our site; place an order with us; purchase a gift card; or sell your cards. We also invite you to watch our new weekly stream, Magic is Gathering, on Wednesdays at 6 pm PST. Our hope is to provide a place for us all to share our stories and focus on the positive aspects of our community coming together to support each other. We hope you’ll tune in tonight to our debut episode with Meghan and Maria from Good Luck High Five.

We appreciate your understanding and support through all of this. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and be making regular updates as new information is available. Right now, more than anything, we look to the Magic community to support one another during these uneasy times. Keep gathering (remotely-see the video), and continue to support the content creators, artists, cosplayers, and businesses that help make our ecosystem great. Together we will get through this and continue to play the game we love.
