Events
We will not be vending at our booth at all, but we will be sponsoring some awesome events, so don’t miss your chance to get goodies, including some event-exclusive merchandise. (Seriously, you’re gonna want some of these prizes.)
Make sure to check back regularly for event updates, because we’ve got some exciting things planned! We will keep this blog updated as we get closer to the event, and make sure to follow us on our social channels for the most up-to-date information and announcements,
Ongoing Activities
- No Vending: Again, we will NOT be buying or selling cards at our table. Instead, swing by to get some swag and hang out with friends new and old.
- Battle Deck Beatdown: We will be hosting freeplay with our Battle Decks, a Card Kingdom exclusive product! Come sit down and get a few games in. You never know who might come play next to you.
- Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Get a free Quest card and fulfill quests for the Kingdom to earn an event-exclusive Monarch enamel coin! But make haste, as quantities are limited each day!
- Our Kingdom Is Your Kingdom, My Liege: Take a picture on our Card Kingdom throne at the booth! As is your right as the Monarch. And if you’re not the Monarch this turn, you can always attack next turn.
- Democracy in Action: Make your voice heard and vote on an upcoming Commander Spotlight!
- Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner: Earn raffle tickets from various events and activities for a chance to win prizes each day. We’ll be bringing treasure fit for any ruler!
- Attending any events (aside from Local Game Show) will get attendees a raffle ticket to use in the drawing. Each day an attendee can submit a maximum of 4 raffle tickets into the daily drawing.
Scheduled Events
- School is in Session: We will be giving entertaining presentations about some lesser-known formats called ‘Formats You Should Play’. This will be a live slide presentation. (Just think the Dropout show, Smartypants.) Times can be found on the schedule below.
- Art is Life: Meet and greet and get some cards signed by Magic artists Josh Freydkis and James Bousema, only at the Card Kingdom booth! Full schedule can be found further down.
- Hey, I Know Those Guys: Make sure to attend Friday’s Game Knights Live main stage event to get a postcard you can bring back to our booth for an exclusive pin.
- Accolades and Aplomb: Get a chance to be on our quiz show Local Game Show! Show off your Magic knowledge, win fabulous prizes, and be crowned the Card Kingdom Monarch.
- Local Game Show contestants will be chosen right before the show starts, and one lucky winner in the audience will get a bonus prize, along with the contestants getting prizes based on placement.
